Meet Granny
With over 30 years of marriage
under and over our belts...
Judy Peck, aka The 5 Bite Granny
She has worked in several facets of the culinary nutrition realm over 50 years. From research and development for her own restaurant: Bo Jangles in Sacramento in the 70's & 80's, to menu planning for Zorba's Greek Restaurant, and beyond.
Granny has also worked with many fast food and fine dining restaurants from central California to Seattle and back down to Reno Nevada, providing nutrient analysis and specialty recipes.
Granny's passions lies in the garden and spill over into the kitchen, where she can be "hands-on" in addressing widespread nutritional needs. Granny has taught health-related cooking classes, art and Physical Education at the Christian Academy of Marysville. These classes helped school kids ages 9-18 to develop cooking skills and how to create nutrient dense meals for themselves and their family's.
Granny emphasizes minimalist eating in her nutrition education; creating delicious, nourishing foods, from one bite to an entire banquet and promoting a healthy attitude toward food and body image.

Now that her health and age has advanced, it means she must take things at a slower pace.
She & Mike married in 1990. He helps her focuses between God, the 5 Bite Diet, and quiet time together. Mike spent the majority of his life as a custodian, and provided her with a home where she could garden, cook, and craft. Mike also made sure that they 'worked their way' 100% out of debt, prior to Covid-19. They now both live, retired and wish to share their love for God, His work, each other, and their success with the 5 Bite Diet, of course.
